30 Plus 1

I turned 31 a few days ago.

And had a little birthday bash of sorts. :)

Aunt was here on one of her weekly visits and so was Sis and Hui. She cooked up a storm for all of us, which included a send-you-straight-to-bliss chicken soup. ;D It was such a great dinner, filled with jokes and hearty laughter from all. Ok, maybe not all. Jeddy probably didn't know what was going on half the time but was content with just sitting at the table with us munching on sweet potato puffs.

Sis bought a mango cake in the afternoon. What's a birthday without a cake, she says... :D Well, seems like Hubs had exactly the same thing in mind! When he came home from work that evening, he was bearing gifts and a giant cake at the door! Upon close inspection, the cake wasn't really a cake. It was a COMPLETE, UNCUT Coffee Club Muddy Mudpie!! In short, the whole thing is coffee and chocolate ice-cream perched on top of an Oreo crust. *drooling down my neck*

That's why I have two cakes.
