Loving His Food

Some of my friends are asking me why I'm starting Jeddy boy on semi-solids at only 4.5 months, when the recommended age currently is 6 months.

Well, here's why....

...

And here's Jeddy's lunch for the next few days... Ultra Smooooooth Pumpkin puree.

Instructions:

Buy half a pumpkin from NTUC for 80 cents, pop it into the pot to steam (about 20 mins), scrape the flesh out, and run it through a fine wire sieve to remove the chunky fibres (Pop those fibres into your mouth and lick the spoon when done. Smooth poo poo guaranteed the next morning. ;D).

Scoop into an ice-cube tray and just chuck it in the freezer. When needed, pop out a cube and reheat. Easy peasy. Plus cheap cheap.

I took one cube out today, mixed in a little water, boiled it in a pot and added a tsp of baby rice to make it a complete meal for Jeddy.

He finished every last bit of it... and I suspect he would lick the bowl if he could. ;D

Yum.
